Plastic Verge Marker Posts & Reflective Bollards

Verge Markers are a handy way of protecting grass verges and highlighting the curvature of the road to motorists. We offer two different types of Verge Post, the Wychwood Flexible post and the Zebra Protector post.

Both have reflectors on either side and are stripped in black and white for increased visibility. The Wychwood is a very popular choice because it can be installed very easily with just being pushed or malleted in. The Zebra post is a more substantial post which has two high-quality integrally moulded plastic reflectors rather than the sticker variant found on the Wychwood post. Both markers are very durable when installed correctly.

Which Way Round should the Reflectors be?

We often get asked which way round the reflector should be when installing verge markers. The correct orientation is to have the red reflector on the nearside (passenger side of your car) on approach. So if you're in the UK driving on the

So if you're in the UK driving on the left-hand side of the road, you should have red reflectors to your left and white reflectors to your right. We like to think about it like car lights, Red rear lights for the car you are following and White lights for the oncoming traffic.

Easy To Install On Grass

Our grass verge posts are exceptionally easy to install. If you want something that is flexible and able to withstand an impact on more than one occasion, then the Wychwood Flexible marker is for you. It is very easy to install on grass verges as it can simply by pushed down into the ground or hit with a mallet.

The Churchill Post takes a little more work to install but is still very easy. The Churchill is more "bollard" like in its construction and is better suited to stopping cars from cutting corners. It is ridged and although it will flex a little it is nowhere near as flexible as the Wychwood. To install the Churchill roadside marker you will need to dig a hole and bury the lower portion into the ground (you can also use concrete for a more secure install if need be).
